Dear Oregon, you smell GREAT

And I made it! I am home and dealing with jetlag - I got up at 7am yesterday, something I don't think I've ever voluntarily done in my entire life. It's amazing how cold Oregon is (although my mother insists that it's not cold, it's just me). I've already had Greek food and Mexican food and berries and will continue to be excited and pleased by probably everything I eat from here on out until I start missing the curries and coconuts of SE Asia.

It's all way too overwhelming to have much to write about yet, but I just wanted to confirm that I had a safe landing and am back on familiar territory again (for the first time since Obama became President which is pretty exciting for me!).
